A Short Meditation on the Pause

Sit comfortably and allow your body to arrive.

Notice the breath without changing it. Notice the simple fact of being here.

There is nothing to fix. Nothing to prepare for.

Between one breath and the next, sense the space that holds them both. That space is not empty. It is aware.

Thoughts may arise. Let them pass without following. Sensations may shift. Let them be as they are.

Rest your attention in the pause—not as effort, but as allowing.

If the mind wanders, gently return to the breath and to the quiet moment before the next inhale begins.

Stay here for a few breaths longer than feels necessary.

When you are ready, open your eyes, bringing the pause with you into the day.

This is not a meditation to achieve—it is an invitation to arrive.
