A Lived Path of Listening and Remembering
This work did not begin as a project or a platform. It began as a quiet, lifelong inquiry.

The Origin of This Space
Sacred Beyond Words is a space devoted to spiritual presence rather than doctrine, experience rather than instruction. Born from decades of contemplative practice and spiritual inquiry, this site reflects a way of being with life that honors silence, oneness, and the intelligence moving through all things.
My conscious spiritual journey began in the mid-1980s, arising from an inner call to look beyond inherited beliefs and explore truth directly. What started as questioning became a lifelong devotion to presence, awareness, and the sacred nature of everyday life.
Over the years, my exploration has moved through many spiritual and philosophical traditions — metaphysics, New Thought, Religious Science, Zen Buddhism, Theosophy, and contemporary mystical and integral teachings. These influences are not followed as systems, but honored as facets of a single, living truth.
The Pillars of This Work
A Way of Presence
This space is rooted in presence rather than pursuit. We honor the quiet awareness that emerges when striving softens and listening deepens. Insight is not something to be achieved — it is something already alive, quietly waiting to be noticed.
A Lived Practice
What is shared here arises from lived experience and contemplative practice. Through reflection, meditation, and sacred inquiry, we again return to what is simple, true, and sustaining — allowing understanding to unfold naturally over time.
A Shared Humanity
This is a welcoming space for those drawn to stillness, depth, and spiritual honesty. Stories are honored, silence is respected, and belonging is not something you earn — it is something you remember.
Writing as Contemplative Practice
My writing emerges from silence rather than instruction. Poetry, reflections, and meditative writings arise as ways of listening — allowing insight to surface naturally. The words offered here are meant to create space rather than provide answers.
Alongside my spiritual path, I earned a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with an emphasis in Leadership. My doctoral research explored the relationship between spiritual intelligence, ethical development, and leadership — reflecting a long-standing interest in how inner awareness shapes outer expression.
Sacred Beyond Words exists as a contemplative home for those drawn to experiential, embodied spirituality — a place for seekers, mystics, creatives, and all who sense that awakening is not about becoming something new, but about remembering.

Dissertation: Spiritual Intelligence: Is It Related to a Leader’s Level of Ethical Development?
Linda’s doctoral research investigated whether spiritual intelligence — the capacity for transcendent awareness, meaning-making, and conscious ethical action — is related to a leader’s level of moral development. The study confirmed what the contemplative traditions have long understood: the deeper the spiritual practice, the more ethical and altruistic the leadership. This research is not separate from the work of this site. It is its academic foundation. Every post here, every practice, every poem is grounded in the conviction that a more direct experience of the Divine produces a more integrated, more compassionate, more fully realized human life.
Sacred Poetry
Author of Sacred Poetry
Linda is also the author of a collection of sacred poetry — contemplative verse that arises from the same interior place as the reflections shared on this site. Her poetry has been described as a doorway into stillness, offering language for what is often felt before it can be named.
